"Easy enough for my kids"
The site was easy to use, honestly. My kids found the games quick and it didn’t keep freezing or acting weird, so that was nice. Overall, good

"Shows up when it’s supposed to"
I’ve ordered from Highlights a couple times now, and it’s been easy. The magazines just show up when they’re supposed to, which is more than I can say for some other stuff we’ve had mailed before. No missing issues or random delays so far. My kid gets excited when it comes, so yeah, it’s been nice not having to chase anything down.

"I really thought this might keep him..."
I really thought this might keep him busy for a while, but he got bored way faster than I expected. He checked it out for a bit, seemed mildly interested at first, and then just kind of moved on like it wasn’t doing much for him. Maybe it works better for other kids, but for mine it just didn’t really hold his attention.

"I signed up for my kid..."
I signed up for my kid and ended up needing to cancel later on. Doing it on highlights.com was actually straightforward — no annoying runaround or anything. It only took a few minutes, so overall I’d give it 4 stars.

"Really happy with this"
I don’t know exactly what makes it work so well, but my kid is actually into it and seems to be picking things up without it feeling like schoolwork. It just feels like a really good fit for us.

"I blame Highlights for all the big ideas"
My daughter is really into the puzzles and little stories on Highlights. I swear, I blame them for getting her imagination going because after she reads, she starts coming up with her own little stories and ideas. It doesn’t feel like random busy work either, which I appreciate. It’s fun, creative, and not overwhelming. We end up using it a lot on quiet afternoons

"Helped my kid with reading, but communication was confusing"
This really did help my kid get better with reading practice, so I’m happy about that part. I just wish the communication had been clearer, because sometimes it wasn’t obvious what we were supposed to do next, which got a bit annoying.

"Felt a little awkward about how disappointed I was"
I ordered a few things from highlights.com for my kid, i felt kind of embarrassed by how underwhelmed I was when they arrived. The pages felt thin, and a couple of the items just looked cheaper than I expected. My kid still used everything, so it wasn’t a total loss, but for the price, I really thought the quality would be better

There’s a lot of fun stuff for kids, and it all feels really well made, if that makes sense. It’s the kind of content I don’t mind putting on because it seems engaging and thoughtfully done

My kids don’t get bored with this. There’s stories, puzzles, hidden pictures, little games, crafts... kinda just depends what mood they’re in that day. I like that it isnt the same exact thing over and over, so it keeps them busy without feeling repetitive.

"Billing Was Blessedly Clear"
I signed up for my kid and, thankfully, there was no grand mystery around the price—it was right there before I paid. The renewal info was easy to find too, which saved me from the usual subscription panic spiral. My only tiny plea to the billing gods: one more reminder email would be nice.

For the price, I think it’s been a solid buy. My kid uses it quite a bit, and there’s enough included to keep them entertained for a while. I’d say if your child gets bored easily or likes having a few different things to do, it’s definitely worth it. If they’re only going to use it once or twice, maybe not, but for us it’s been money well spent.

"Wish I’d Gotten This Sooner"
This feels like a really good fit for my kid’s age. She’s been able to use it without getting frustrated, and I kind of regret not picking it up earlier
